I am Miranda, a self-representing artist who runs my business, Randam Art, from my home studio. I create decoratively painted art that’s both distinctive and intriguing. I love using vibrant, lively colours with a touch of whimsy to spark the imagination.
Crafting handmade pieces that evoke emotions and ignite the senses is something that I am truly passionate about. Primarily, my main focus is on painted glass, particularly bottle lights, (accent lamps) painted to look like tiffany-style leaded stained glass.
I adore colour and paint, and have always enjoyed playing with both to create something extraordinary. All of my creations are individually painted – as they can not be duplicated or mass-produced, every creation is an original one-of-a-kind piece of art. I take great care to ensure that every detail is perfect, and that each stroke of paint is just right.
Originally from Australia, I’ve lived in the USA with my husband for a number of years before moving to beautiful Nova Scotia, Canada, where I now reside. My love for colour is evident in all my work, and I’m thrilled to be able to share my passion for handcrafted art with others.
